About this position

Our Senior Brand Manager is core to the success of Elevate Brands and a crucial link in helping set and drive our private label brand strategy. Our business model is simple: buy brands, complete a brand redesign, relaunch and push the brand global.

What You’ll Do:

You will help build and lead a team of between 5 to 10 Brand Managers and work closely and collaboratively with all teams across Elevate Brand’s platform including: Brand Creative, Marketing, M&A, Innovation, Supply Chain and Brand Operations. You will have ultimate responsibility for the day to day and long-term success of our Amazon listings.

  • Work with Brand Managers to set, define and implement business plans for each of the brands under your direct responsibility;
  • Managing the day to day success your brand portfolio’s Amazon listings and troubleshoot any issues with your team of Brand Managers and other functional teams across our platform;
  • Analyze Amazon data (sales, conversation rate, sessions, etc.) to determine why certain products are trending up or down and develop strategies to quickly spot and fix low margin and low growth products;
  • Ensuring that all levers for growth and optimisation of each Brand are being evaluated and implemented as efficiently and effectively as possible. This might include launch of Brands onto new marketplaces, introducing new SKUs or working closely with the Brand Creative team to revamp Brand positioning. You will be responsible for driving all of these workflows;
  • Working daily with our supply chain team to ensure sufficient product inventories are in place and also ensuring all product QC and safety compliance are in order;
  • Our customers come first will need to work closely with our CustomerF1rst Managers to ensure our customers are getting the world class service they deserve; and
  • Working with the M&A and integrations specialists to help successfully integrate new brands onto the Recom Brands platform post acquisition. This includes working with the prior owners to better understand the ethos of their brands and then help develop strategies to take them to the next level.

What You’ll Bring:

  • More than seven (7) years of experience in product or brand management/strategy, marketing, or an analytical function, at a major consumer company, start-up or other fast-paced environment;
  • More than four (4) years of e-commerce experience, preferably working within the Amazon ecosystem;
  • A demonstrated project management track record and an ability to manage multiple people, cross functional teams and tight deadlines simultaneously;
  • Strong interpersonal/communication skills and high level of strategic thinking;
  • Experience in strategic planning and business plan development including analytical skills, presentation development and process management;
  • Manage and / or collaborate with internal and external cross-functional groups: senior leadership, global brand strategy, product marketing, communications and markets;
  • Positive attitude and ability to thrive in fast paced start-up environment;
  • MBA or a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, Marketing, Data Science or a related field.
